[ Cloud could feel the hair standing at the back of his neck. The goosebumps on his arms even alerted him of someone being there. He looks around ahead of him first before turning around. ]
[ Fuck off, Kadaj. He's going to use his own anger against the remnant. He quickly takes out his sword and runs towards Kadaj but then he leaps to the side running in a curve wide arch. Not wanting to be too predictable by coming straight on. ]
( Kadaj is quick, faster than his brothers but slower than Sephiroth. It's how the code diverged between them all. Yazoo had his precision, Loz his strength, Kadaj a mix of the two as well as the speed - but even fighting together didn't quite make them whole nor on par with Sephiroth.
They were remnants. They were incomplete. Cloud was a piece of the puzzle. His weapon, a double-blade paralleled from hilt to tip, held ready in his hand. The sword was useful in all the ways a regular sword was. However, it was especially effective in disarming other weapon wielders by threading the weapon between his two blades. Kadaj would endeavor to trap Cloud's massive blade between his thin ones and discard the blond's weapon. )
[ Cloud would have to be careful on who he was dealing with. He knew that with just being remnants that he would still have to put forth a lot of strength. A will that has been crushed under a conflict of wanting to be forgiven as well as a lurking death with a cure that would be impossible to come by. Cloud had to try to regain his will to fight fully but today won't be it.
He'll be giving his all to Kadaj, but it may still not be enough. For the moment he only has the one piece out for the sword. Cloud comes right for Kadaj while swinging the sword out flat and wide. It would make it pretty easy for Kadaj to slip his own weapon against the blade. ]
( Kadaj retaliates with his weapon, the steel blades clash with a painful chime that makes the surrounding air vibrate. Long silver threads wash across Kadaj's face as he responds with a powerful kick backward from Cloud, effectively disengaging the blond's pursuit. )
[ The clashing of the steel blades made the adrenaline rush. Cloud could feel the vibration around him. He knows that Kadaj would be quicker and faster. He keeps the blade up in a guard position in case Kadaj comes back for him. ]
[ Cloud waited a moment to regain his thoughts before going right for Kadaj again, however, he decides to do a bit of a slide and then another dash before swinging his sword up at Kadaj. ]
( He meets Cloud's assault with a counterattack, the next one he deflects, then he goes in for Cloud, reciprocating the attack. They move like flashes of light, reflecting off of one another with movements within blinks. )

It's not my words I want to taste, brother.
